Self Management (Behavioral Focus): Roles, Goals, Motivation, Priorities and Energy/Stress.
Interacting With And Influencing Others (Other/Group Focus): Understanding Personal Styles and Preferences of Others,
Human Relations/Social Skills, Communications Skills, Interacting with Impact and Demonstrating Leadership.
Seminar Description:
As human development and behavioral science research continues to unfold, it is becoming more and more clear that what makes a human
being unique is not just one's ability to think and reason--through the use of their brain. Researchers have found that, in addition to
intellect, there exists the capacity to tap into a tremendous reservoir of potential, found within one's heart and mind. This
groundbreaking research has been documented by best-selling authors, Daniel Goleman in his book, Emotional Intelligence and Robert Cooper
in his book, Executive EQ. This seminar will explore the Emotional Intelligence (EQ) concept by focusing on the emotional nature of being human.
Participants will learn how once the two quotients, EQ and IQ, are combined, they become a powerful measure of an individual's emotional
and intellectual capacity and potential. Participants will also understand that it is EQ, not IQ or raw brainpower alone, that serves as
the foundation for many of the best decisions, most dynamic organizations and most satisfying and successful lives.
